Oct 05, Colombo: The Sri Lankan government will issue Treasury bills for 15 billion rupees (approximately US$ 117 million) through an auction on 10th October, 2012, the Central Bank announced today.
The T-bills will be offered in 3 maturities - Rs 2 billion of 3-month, Rs. 3 billion of 6-month and Rs. 10 billion of 12-month.
Bids are invited from the Primary Dealers in Government Securities and should be made only through the electronic bidding facility provided by the Central Bank.
