Oct 04, Colombo: Sri Lanka police spokesman Senior Superintendent of Police Ajith Rohana said that the Inspector General of Police (IGP) N.K. Ilangakoon has taken steps to establish a IG's Help Desk.
The aim of this service is to provide a more efficient service to the public.
The Help Desk is established under a concept of the police chief to provide information regarding the services of police and also about the investigations round the clock.
The police spokesman said that the exact date the service will be launched and the hotlines will be announced next week.
