July 28, Kataragama: The police have arrested another politician of a local government in Sri Lanka for disorderly conducted in public.

The Deputy Chairman of the Balapitiya Pradeshiya Sabha and a close relative of him were arrested yesterday for alleged misbehavior in public at Kataragama, police said Saturday.

The police said the two men were highly intoxicated with behaving indecently in public.

The suspects are to be produced before a local Magistrate today. Kataragama police are conducting further investigations.
