* Overseas Realty to build Sri Lanka's biggest shopping mall

Apr 27, Colombo: Overseas Realty (Ceylon), a premier property development and investment holding Company says that a 560,000 square feet shopping mall and also two towers that will consist of 750,000 square feet of office space will be constructed in Colombo.

The constructions will be under Havelock City project and the shopping mall will be the biggest in the island.

The company, developers and managers of the impressive World Trade Centre (WTC) towers in downtown Colombo, has already received regulatory approval to build the proposed shopping mall and the office space. The construction will start in the third quarter of the year, says the annual report of the company.

Havelock City recently commenced the second stage of construction on its phase 2 of luxury apartments. The 2 towers now undergoing the construction of its building structure will have 218 luxury condominiums.
