Mar 22, Colombo: Former Australian skipper and cricket commentator Ian Chappell met Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa today at the Temple Trees and thanked the President for the assistance offered to him to cure his ailment in his arm and leg, through the President's personal physician Dr. Eliyantha White.

President Rajapaksa had offered the services of Dr. White on a request made by the Australian cricketing great recently. Chappell had been suffering from this ailment for a long period. The picture shows Chappell greeting the President. Dr. Eliyantha White was also present.
