Apr 17, Visakhapatnam: Indian authorities have arrested 10 Sri Lankan fishermen for allegedly fishing in Indian waters off the Andhra Pradesh coast, India media reported.

The Sri Lankan fishermen in two boats were fishing on Friday evening in India's Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) off Narasapur coast in West Godavari district, officials have told the PTI.

The men, who are in the age group of 20-40, have been handed over to the Marine Police in Kakinada Saturday.

Following questioning by the police the fishermen have been produced today before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate in Visakhapatnam who had remanded them.
