Apr 07, Kaduwela: A Sri Lankan court has today released the news editor of the LankaeNews website from remand custody.

Kaduwela Magistrate, J. de Alwis has today released LankaeNews News Editor Bennet Rupasinghe on a personal bail of Rs. 300,000 and cash bail of Rs. 10,000.

The Magistrate fixed the next hearing for June 7 and warned Rupasinghe not to obstruct the police investigation.

Rupasinghe was arrested last week for allegedly threatening the brother of one of the suspects in custody over the arson attack on the LankaeNews website office in Malabe.
