Dec 16, Colombo: A new aircraft of Sri Lanka's state-owned budget airline Mihin Lanka has commenced its maiden flight this morning at an auspicious time.
The inaugural flight of the aircraft was scheduled to leave Katunayake Bandaranaike International Airport at 7:00 a.m. today to Dhaka International Airport in Bangladesh. It was scheduled to reach its destination by 10:10 a.m.
The plane built by Airbus was delivered to Sri Lanka yesterday. It was purchased under the cabinet approval.
With the addition of new Airbus A321, the fleet of crafts of Mihin Lanka has risen to two.
