Sept 05, Colombo: Another legislator of Sri Lanka's major opposition United National Party said his decision on the constitutional amendments would depend on the wishes of those who voted for him at the last general election.

The UNP Moneragala District parliamentarian Ranjith Madduma Bandara told the local media that his decision on whether or not to support the constitutional amendments in parliament this week depends on his supporters.

He has said that he needs to listen to his voters, as they had voted for him even after the UNP had requested the people in Moneragala not to vote for him.

However, he has added that he still remained with the party's stance on the constitutional amendments.
