Sept 03, Colombo: Vatican's Cardinal Antonio Canizares Llovera, prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, called on Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday at the Temple Trees.

Cardinal Canizares Llovera was in Sri Lanka to participate in the Liturgy Convention of Archdiocese held at Aquinas University College from Sept 01- 03.

Apostolic Nuncio in Sri Lanka Most Rev. Dr. Joseph Spiteri, Archbishop of Colombo, Most Rev. Dr Malcolm Ranjith, Ministers Milroy Perera and Johnston Fernando, Deputy Ministers Dayasritha Tissera and Neomal Perera were also present at the occasion.
