* India finally ends its run-fest on Day 5 of second Test

July 30, Colombo: India finally ended its run fest at 707 on Day 5 of the second Test against Sri Lanka at the SSC grounds in Colombo today.

After Sri Lanka declared 642/4 on Day 2 India dragged on for the longest innings ever for 223 overs. Dilhara Fernando took the final wicket of Ishant Sharma to stop India at 707.

At lunch on Day 5 India is leading by 46 runs with 57 overs remaining in Sri Lanka's second innings.
