July 28, Colombo: Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa paid his last respects to Erin Senanayake, the wife of former Minister late R.G Senanayake at her Colombo residence on Tuesday.

Erin Senanayake, a well-known social worker and a strong Sri Lanka Freedom Party member contested from the Kelaniya seat in Colombo Province in 1977. She lost to late Cyril Mathew of the opposition party UNP.
