July 26, New York: Te British Monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, visiting the United Nations in New York City on July 06th for the first time since 1957, took a moment to meet the Permanent Representatives to the UN from Commonwealth countries.

Seen here is Sri Lanka's Permanent Representatives to the UN Dr. Palitha Kohona is greeting the Queen. Representatives of India, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, and Singapore were also present.
