July 25, Colombo: Sri Lanka Prime Minister D.M. Jayaratna has been hospitalized, government sources say. However, the Premier is not seriously ill, the sources add.

The Prime Minister is to undergo a medical examination and the details of the condition of the Prime Minister were unavailable to media.

The 79-year-old Prime Minister was admitted to a private hospital in this regard, sources said.
