* LAUGFS gas prices reduced in Sri Lanka

Aug 31, Colombo: Price of a LAUGFS domestic gas cylinder has been reduced by 46 rupees with effect from midnight tonight.

Chairman of the Consumer Affairs Authority Roomy Marzook says new price of a LAUGFS cylinder is 1,593 rupees.

However, the price of a Shell gas cylinder remains the same at 1,769 rupees.
