Aug 30, Colombo: Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa paid his last respects to late Rev. Fr. Siri Cooray, Vice Rector of St. Peter's College, Udugampola Branch at the College Church today (30).

Rev. Fr. Cooray was the Principal of the Branch Schools of St. Peter's College at Gampaha and Udugampola since January 2007. His mortal remains were brought from St. Peter's College, Udugampola Branch to St. Peter's College in Bambalapitiya and later transferred to St. Joseph's Church at Uyana, Moratuwa for the Requiem Mass presided over by Most Rev. Dr. Malcolm Ranjith, Archbishop of Colombo and followed by interment.

Rector, Rev. Fr. Terris Clayer and Opposition MP, Mr. John Amaratunga were also present.
