Aug 28, Dambulla: Sri Lanka with a ton from Dilshan posted a challenging run total of 299 for India to chase in the final match of the triangular series at Dambulla International Stadium today.

Tillakaratne Dilshan's century and Sangakkara's 71 had left India for a 300-run chase. In reply Sri Lanka has early on removed India's Dinesh Karthik for no score.

India beat New Zealand by 105 runs on Wednesday (25) to secure a place in the final against Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka despite playing well against India during the series has lost the final matches to India in five consecutive series.

In an interview to CricInfo, Sri Lanka Captain Kumar Sangakkara has said the Sri Lankan team need to improve on mental toughness, which would lead to more consistent performances irrespective of the conditions.
