Aug 20, Dambulla: Pouring rain has halted Sri Lanka's drive against New Zealand in the 4th One-Day International today at the Dambulla International Stadium.
After winning the toss the Kiwis put Sri Lanka to bat. At the time of halt in the 44th over, Sri Lanka was at 203 for 3 with Mahela Jayawardena at 59 and Chamara Silva at 41, both not out.
If the play doesn't resume by 9:55 p.m. local time, the match will be called off and Sri Lanka will have to beat India on Sunday to stay in the game. If the play resumes today New Zealand will have 20 overs to play.
