* Indonesian police arrest two Sri Lankan Sailors in brothel raid

Mar 18, Colombo: Indonesian police conducting a raid on a brothel in Surabaya have arrested two Sri Lankan sailors among 24 other men Wednesday night.

Surabaya Police raiding the city's notorious Dolly prostitution district on Wednesday night have detained 28 prostitutes and 24 men without proper ID cards, including the two Sri Lankan sailors, Jakarta Globe reported.

The sailors have been arrested for not carrying passports or other identification. They were released after their supervisor came to the police station with their passports and visas, the report said.

Brothels are legal in most parts of Indonesia.
