DNA organizes island wide protests against General Fonseka's court martial

Mar 16, Colombo: The Democratic National Alliance (DNA) has organized island wide protests against the government's move to present former Army Commander Retired General Sarath Fonseka before a military court today (16) and tomorrow (17).
A DNA source said that protests have been organized in many cities in the island.
Police used tear gas to disperse a DNA protest held in Panadura today. Three people received minor injuries in the scuffle and ten others were arrested.
