* Extra security for distribution of Sri Lanka poll cards

Mar 13, Colombo: Sri Lanka Police will provide additional police protection for the distribution of the official poll cards for the upcoming general election.

The delivery of official poll cards for the general election will begin on the March 22. Last date for delivery of poll cards will end on March 31. The special delivery date for poll cards is assigned for Sunday March 28.

Gamini Navaratna, senior DIG in-charge of the elections has advised all officers-in-charge (OIC) to be vigilant against undue activities during the distribution.
