CID questions former Sri Lanka cricket captain on Danuna's whereabouts

Mar 03, Colombo; Sri Lanka's Criminal Investigation Department (CID) today searched the former Sri Lankan cricket captain and opposition member Hashan Tillakaratne's house and questioned him over Danuna Tilakaratne, former army chief General Sarath Fonseka's son-in-law.
The CID said hey had information that Danuna Tilakaratne was taking refuge in the cricketer's house in Piliyandala.
General Sarath Fonseka's son-in-law is wanted by the CID and an arrest warrant has been issued on him. However his whereabouts are unknown and he remains at-large.
Danuna Tilakaratne, who as the president of Hicorp International and the British Borneo Defence, is accused of earning profits from arms procurement deals of the Army that were awarded to him by the former Army Commander General Fonseka during the war with the LTTE.
The CID didn't find the suspect in the house during the search. Later Hashan Tillakaratne has given a statement to the CID on his own.
