President Rajapaksa also visited the Angunukolapelessa village of the Hambanthota district and met with people. He received a warm welcome from the people of Angunukolapelessa. President met with the members of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) and United National Party (UNP) from Angunukolapelessa, at the residence of Water Supplies Minister Mahinda Amaraweera, today (7).
The Opposition Leader of the Beliatta Pradeshiya Sabha Mr. Geegana Arachchige Danny greeted President Mahinda Rajapaksa with a sheaf of betel to express his support to the President. Minister Prof. G.L Peiris was also present at this occasion.
