Bhutanese Minister extends invitation for 16th SAARC summit to Sri Lanka President
President Rajapaksa is the current Chair of SAARC. Minister of Foreign Affairs Rohitha Bogollagama and Secretary to the President Lalith Weerathunge, Secretary Foreign Affairs Romesh Jayasinghe were also present.

Feb 19, Colombo: Bhutanese Minister for Foreign Affairs Lyonpo Ugen Tshering today at the Temple Trees extended an invitation from the Bhutanese Prime Minister Jigme Yoser Thinley to President Mahinda Rajapaksa for the 16th Summit of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) to be held in Thimpu from April 28 - 29.
