Minister Nimal Siripala De Silva told the media yesterday (23) that the period from May to June would be covered with another Vote-on-Account.
The 2011 budget is to be presented as usual in November and is expected to include details of the development programme as outlined in the Mahinda Chintana Idiri Dekma manifesto of the governing United People's Freedom Alliance.
The Health Minister and Sri Lanka Freedom party General Secretary Maithripala Sirisena addressing the media said the new government hoped to remove the stumbling blocks that hindered electoral, institutional and economic development in the country.
