Apr 21, Colombo: Sri Lanka Freedom Party stalwart and Former minister D. M. Jayaratna was sworn in today as Sri Lanka's next Prime Minister before President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the Temple Trees.

Secretary to the President Lalith Weerathunge, former Prime Minister Rathnasiri Wickramanayaka, Members of the Parliament and family members of the new Premier were present at the occasion.
