Sept 30, Colombo: Sri Lanka police in a move to crackdown on underworld crime in the capital arrested two more crime figures.
The Maligawatte Police last night arrested two alleged gang members of the underworld who were in possession of a number of illegal weapons. The Police found a 0.38 revolver, a 9.5 mm pistol, a magazine and 24 rounds of ammunition.
The arrests were made on a tip received by the Office-IN-Chrage of the Maligawatte police.
Maligawatte Police are conducting further investigations.
