* New ambassadors and high commissioner present credentials to Sri Lanka President

Sept 17, Colombo: Six new ambassadors and a high commissioner taking assignments in Sri Lanka presented their credentials to President Mahinda Rajapaksa today at the Presidential Secretariat. Minister of Foreign Affairs Rohitha Bogollagama and President's Secretary Lalith Weeratunga were also present at the occasion.

The new diplomats were Ambassador of Egypt Fawzi Mohamed EI Said Gohar, Ambassador of USA Ms. Patricia A. Butenis, Ambassador Khaled Salman of Lebanon, High Commissioner of Namibia Mr. Marten Nenkete Kapewasha, Ambassador of Croatia Dr. Boris Velic, Ambassador of Romania Mrs. Valerica Epure, and Ambassador of Slovak Republic Mr. Borislav Kirilov Kostov.
