Sri Lanka President returns to the country
Sept 03, Tripoli: Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa left Libya and arrived in Sri Lanka this morning today after participating in the 40th anniversary celebrations of the Libyan revolution.
President Rajapaksa was sent off by the Libyan Work Minister Abrihm Sereef at the Mitiga International Airport in Tripoli.
Prior to his departure, President met his counterpart, President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela yesterday evening. Foreign Minister Rohitha Bogollagama, President's Secretary Lalith Weeratunga were also present.
