Oct 31, Colombo: The wife of Late Minister Jeyaraj Fernandopulle, Dr Sudharshini Fernandopulle will enter politics to contest at the upcoming General Election next year.
Reportedly, she has been extended an invitation by the President, Mahinda Rajapaksa to enter in to politics.
Dr, Fernandopulle has recently resigned from her job as the head of the Children's Health Programme under the Health Ministry to take office as the ruling party's chief organizer for Katana electorate on the 09th of November.
Minister Jeyaraj Fernandopulle was killed in a suicide bomb attack on April 6, 2008.
