* LTTE intelligence wing member arrested in Northern Sri Lanka

Oct 28, Colombo: The Western Province Intelligence Unit has arrested a key member of the LTTE intelligence unit in Elatur, Mannar last night.

Police spokesman senior DIG Nimal Mediwaka said the suspect was arrested on information received by the Western Province Intelligence Unit.

The suspect has been involved in intelligence activities for LTTE since 2004, Senior DIG Mediwaka added.

Further interrogations of the suspect are continuing.
