Oct 12, Colombo: The police have arrested a man who has allegedly supported the terrorist outfit LTTE to carry out an attack on the Colombo harbour some time ago.
According to the police spokesman, Senior Deputy Inspector General Nimal Mediwaka the suspect was arrested in Chilaw area last night.
The suspect has been arrested in a special raid conducted by the police on information given by another LTTE suspect in custody at the moment.
Police said that the suspect has been paid by the LTTE for his support in providing details on key places in Colombo.
