Oct 08, Colombo: Special Investigation Unit of the Kalutara police has arrested a prominent female LTTE cadre from Pahalawatta area in Kalutara last night.
Police spokesman Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police Nimal Mediwaka said this female Tiger was a resident of the Kilinochchi area.
It was confirmed that she had direct links with the LTTE and also was a key female cadre of the now vanquished revel outfit, he added.
Further questioning of the suspect is continuing.
