Oct 02, Colombo: At least five people were killed and few more were injured when a tree fell on a house in Galwadugoda in Galle this evening.
The police said severe weather conditions prevailed in the area this evening were to blame for the incident.
According to the sources three more have been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of the Karapitiya Hospital with serious injuries.
The police said that there was a child among the victims.
