Poor fielding resulted in early exit, Sri Lankan cricket captain says on arrival

Oct 01 Colombo: Sri Lanka cricket captain, Kumar Sangakkara today blamed the poor fielding effort by the entire team for their early exit from the ongoing International Cricket Council Champions Trophy.
Speaking to the media at the Katunayake International Airport, Sangakkara said that the Sri Lankan team is still far away from its brilliant own fielding style shown in the past.
He pointed out that his team needs to correct those errors immediately and regain its form before the next international tour.
However, Sri Lanka captain thanked and praised the efforts of young Angelo Mathews, T.M Dilshan and Thilina Kandambi, who have made valiant efforts to save the team several occasions with bat.
Finally he said that he has not received expected results from the pace bowlers of the team during this tournament.
Sri Lankan team, played under group B has won only one match against host nation, South Africa but lost the other two matches in the first round to England and New Zealand resulting in the early exit from the tournament.
