Nov 20, Colombo: The Ministry of Fisheries today lifted the restrictions imposed on fishermen against using boat engines exceeding 30 horsepower in the seas off Kalpitiya in the North Western Province.

The Fisheries Ministry said that they have taken this decision due to the improving security situation in the area.
