Nov 19, Colombo: At least 11 school children from Monaragala have been admitted to the hospital after a test tube they were using in a science experiment exploded.
The hospital sources said the school children from Royal College in Monaragala were admitted with minor injuries. Few of them have already been discharged after initial treatments.
The school officials said the test tube exploded as the students have made a mistake during their test.
