* President to meet expatriate Sri Lankans

Nov 13, Colombo: Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa is to meet the representatives of expatriate Sri Lankans at the President's office tomorrow, the President's Media Unit said .

Nearly 500 Sri Lankans living in 45 countries are to participate in the special discussion, President's Media Unit added.

The President Rajapaksa is expected to brief the delegation on Sri Lanka's current situation as well as the development process in the country at the meeting.

The discussion will especially focus on the Eastern Awakening (Nagenahira Navodaya) and Northern Spring (Uthuru Wasanthaya) development programs currently underway in the East and the North, the media unit said.
