Nov 13, Colombo: At least seven prisoners received injuries in a clash between two groups inside the high security Welikada Magazine Prison in Colombo this morning.
The Prisons Commissioner, Kenneth Fernando said that a clash broke out between two groups of inmates inside the prison after an argument.
A prison official has also been injured by stones pelted during the clash.
The prison officials have managed to control the clash without much damage, the Commissioner said.
