Mobile phones and money found from Muthuhettigama's prison room

Nov 12, Colombo: The police have found two mobile phones this evening from the prison room of Nishantha Muthuhettigama, the remanded controversial Southern Provincial Councilor.
In addition, three mobile phone chargers and money worth of Rs. 35,000 have also been recovered from the possession of Muthuhettigama.
Nishantha Muthuhettigama was arrested and ordered to be remanded until the 20th of this month by the Galle Magistrate Courts last week as he failed to appear in courts over two cases against him.
