Nov 11, Colombo: Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa and First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa attended the D. A. Rajapaksa commemorative oration held at the BMICH today.
Professor Karu Hangawatte of Department of Criminal Justice, University of Nevada in Las Vegas delivered the key note speech at the event.
President Mahinda Rajapaksa greeted the invitees in the rostrum after the function.
Chairman of the D. A. Rajapaksa Memorial Educational, Cultural, and Social Services Foundation Chamal Rajapaksa, "Kalasoori" Arisen Ahubudu, ICTA Chairman Prof. P. W. Epasinghe, Commemorative Committee member G.L. W. Samarasinghe were also present.
