Nov 07, Colombo: At least 60 persons were displaced due to a massive fire occurred in three line abodes on a tea estate in Pussellawa this morning.
Police spokesman Senior Deputy Inspector General of police Nimal Mediwaka said that this fire was apparently caused by an electrical shortage.
Nearly 12 estate houses were completely gutted by the fire, DIG Mediwaka added. However no one has been injured, the police confirmed.
