* More explosives found from Eastern Sri Lanka

Nov 05, Colombo: Sri Lanka police have recovered a massive haul of explosives from Sampur in Trincomalee early this morning.

Police spokesman Senior Deputy Inspector General Nimal Mediwaka said that a special investigation unit of Vavuniya police has recovered 50 kilo grams of C4 explosives.

According to the police spokesman the explosives were recovered based on information received from a former LTTE cadre who is currently in custody.
