Nov 03, Colombo: Nishantha Muthuhettigama, the controversial Southern Provincial Councilor today met with a road accident along the Galle road in Rathgama.
Police spokesman Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police Nimal Mediwaka said the vehicle Muthuhettigama was travelling has collided with an intercity bus at Rathgama area this morning.
However, there were no injuries to the Councilor or any other person in the two vehicles, the police confirmed.
Muthuhettigama's vehicle has been damaged badly due to the collision, but the two parties have settled the matter at the spot.
