Nov 03, Colombo: Sri Lanka Opposition Leader Ranil Wickremasinghe says that all the opposition political parties should unite for a economic revolution to develop this country as quickly as possible.
Speaking at the ceremony to form the new opposition alliance, Wickremasinghe stressed that the 17th Amendment to the Constitution should be implemented for establishing power to the people of the country.
According to the Oppositions Leader the new opposition alliance should safeguard the rights of the countrymen first and then should go for a economic revolution.
"We are dedicated to do so and certainly will do it," Wickremasinghe said.
Opposition Leader said the strongest part of the newly formed joint alliance would be the people power.
Finally he thanked all the parties who supported to form this joint opposition alliance and said "we are all kings."
