Sri Lanka Cabinet in September 2009 approved the allocation of the land to build a four- story office complex with a three-level underground car park.
The 84,234 sq.ft office complex to be constructed at an estimated cost of nearly 385 million rupees will have a main lobby, a bank, lawyer's offices, communication booth, public restaurant, and meeting rooms.
Justice Minister Milinda Moragoda, Prof. G. L. Peiris, Chief Justice Asoka De Silva, Attorney General Mohan Peiris, Deputy minister of justice V. Putrasigamani also were present.
