Twister damages 103 houses in Sri Lanka

Nov 01, Colombo: A twister that blew across the Bulathsinhala area in Kalutara last night damaged at least 103 houses.
The Disaster Management Center said that 89 houses have been completely destroyed and others were partially damaged.
Most of the houses have been damaged due to fallen trees, but no injuries were reported, Disaster Management Center said. The area has lost power since last night due to fallen trees.
The residents of the area said the twister lasted for about five minutes with a loud sound last night.
The provincial administrators have already granted relief for the displaced residents.
