May 31, Kandy: At least two people were seriously injured and another two were trapped under the debris when a building collapsed on the laborers in Kotugodella Weediya, Kandy this evening.

Kandy police said the building has collapsed while the laborers were engaged in the constructions this evening.

Injured people were admitted to Kandy hospital. Police and the residents of the area are trying to rescue the people trapped under the debris.
