* Sri Lanka's Tamil MPs meet South Indian leaders

May 31, Colombo: A delegation of the Sri Lanka Tamil National Alliance (TNA) met with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi to discuss several matters related to Internally Displaced Persons in the North.

TNA sources confirmed that the delegation led by its leader R. Sambandan who is currently touring South India has met the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister.

According to party sources, the TNA members have asked the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister to assist them in resolving the IDPs' problems.

It was reported that the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi has promised to grant its fullest support on this issue when needed.

TNA confirmed that the delegation has also discussed other several matters regarding to Sri Lanka's ethnic conflict with South Indian leaders.
