July 31, Colombo: Intervening in the endless crisis of public school term test papers, President Mahinda Rajapaksa has finally ordered the Education Minister Susil Premajayantha to conduct a special probe over the issue and submit a full report on the crisis.
The Ministry of Education confirmed that a special investigation will be carried out where the mistakes were reported.
National Education Institute, meanwhile, has started it own investigation into the issue, The Ministry added.
The crisis arose due to the large number of printing mistakes as well as syllabus errors occurred in the mid term test question papers in most parts of the country.
